Last Updated on Saturday, 20 March 2010 03:38
Lately great concerns have been raised about the many ‘Halal’ restaurants and meat shops in the Lower Mainland and whether or not they are as they claim. At Dar al-Madinah Islamic Society, we completely understand that the first step in removing such doubts is education, so we have taken the initiative to educate our brothers and sisters in the Lower Mainland by offering a presentation on the Halal and Haram food. This presentation has been given at various Masjids and centers.
